Idyllwild center of town

Welcome to Idyllwild, California and the Greatest Little Film Festival on Earth, the Idyllwild CinemaFest. Year Four is on upon us -- 2013.

Last year was an amazing success, our growth almost doubling, assuring that we'll be around for years to come. We've got many new features this year; details upcoming on all. To fit all this in we've expanded to five days--Wednesday thru Sunday, January 9th to 13th.

New in 2013"

  • A new submission category
  • Expanded awards including two new categories
  • Two featured filmmakers
  • Our first foreign language films
  • Project-specific mini-events
  • Bright 18.5K lumen digital projector (Rustic Theatre)

Idyllwild is Los Angeles' Gem of a Getaway. We've been compared to Park City in the early years and if you've been to Idyllwild you know why. About two hours southeast of Los Angeles nestled in the San Jacinto mountains, Idyllwild is the most beautiful Southern California town that you've probably never been to. That ends now with this amazing film festival -- mid-January, exact dates tba -- with five days of great movies, clean air, networking rooms and parties, and FREE filmmaking seminars. ICF is more than a film festival; it's an experience.

Join us for the event. If you've never been to Idyllwild we guarantee you'll want to return. If you've never been to our film festival, we know you'll want to tell your fellow filmmakers. Welcome to one of the peaks of the film festival circuit, literally.

2013 submissions are now closed.
Any further manual entries received will be considered 2014 submissions.

Please join us also on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word. More attendees means a better festival for YOU.
